OCTAMED V5 MUSIC COMPETITION FROM RBF SOFTWARE!!!
WIN!!!
A SUPRA V32BIS (14400) FAX MODEM!!! A SCANNER !!!

Enter our fantastic competition and you could be the proud owner of the VERY
expensive brand new Supra Fax Modem! (or whatever).
The four prizes up for grabs are as follows:
1. A Golden Image hand scanner, with software
2. Datel Electronics Action Replay cartridge. NEW internal version (IMPORTANT
note: this is only available for owners of A1500/A2000)
3. An LCD midi portable battery Colour television, with power adaptor. (We
thought we'd offer something different from Computer related stuff)
4. The very latest and highly sought after Supra Fax Modem v.32bis !!!!!!!!!

IS TO SEND IN YOUR COMPOSITIONS
AS DETAILED BELOW!
Category 1 : Cover of songs released in the 60's
Category 2 : Cover of songs released in the 70's
Category 3 : Cover of songs released in the 80's
Category 4 : Your own compositions. (But not House/Acid/Rave).
RULES:
(These must be adhered to)
Full details of the author must be given, i.e.: name, address, telephone
number. If it is author's own composition (category 4), a signed statement
must be included to the effect that it IS completely your own work with any
samples that you have used being your own or within the Public Domain and that
you understand that the composition will become the property of RBF Software
and may be used at some later stage by the said RBF Software. (If this is the
case, your name will be given, SHOULD it be used).
If it is a cover (categories 1, 2, 3), then you MUST state the name(s) of the
original artists and it's composer (if known) and the name/address of the
copyright owners (this is always given on the sleeve/label etc.), along with
full details of where teh samples used actually came from.
It must have been composed using OctaMED v5 and the songs must be sent to us
compressed using the new SFCD format that is available in OctaMED v5 only. If
a disk arrives with songs not compressed or for that matter, compressed with
PowerPacker, they will NOT be entered into the competition!
Entries MUST be on a NEW diskette (not an overworked oldie covered in nasty
sticky label remnants), only two disks maximum may be sent per entrant, disks
will NOT be returned, so make absolutely sure that you keep a copy of your
work for yourself!

Now for the unusual bit about this competition............
Instead of us stating which prize you will get, WE are going to decide this in
order of merit (YES, the best gets the best). But in fairness, in case we
think yours is the best entry, please write your preferred choice upon your
entry as: Choice 1, choice 2, etc. etc....
The closing date of this XMAS 93 competition is MAY 1st, 1994 !
All winning entrants will be notified no later than July 31st 1994 !
Note that this competition is open to ALL users of OctaMED v5 - you don't have
to be a member of MUG !
